# Development
## Testing
Tests can be run using [Pytest](https://docs.pytest.org/en/7.4.x/):
```shell
pytest
```
Or, using Pytest within a Poetry environment:
```shell
poetry run pytest
```
In order to run tests successfully, make sure you have a valid API key declared as a `MILLION_VERIFIER_API_KEY`
environment variable. This can be done by adding a `.env.local` file to the root directory of this project:
```dotenv
MILLION_VERIFIER_API_KEY="<YOUR_API_KEY>"
```
